"TO BE CONTINUED..." EXHIBITION. ORIEL HENRY THOMAS, CARMARTHEN, APRIL 2026
"...Pull Yourself Together!"
This collection was created entirely from reclaimed curtains, sourced from charity shops or rescued as damaged and unwanted textiles. Each piece embraces simplicity, allowing the natural beauty of the fabric to speak for itself, while being designed to outlast fleeting trends.
Having once toured in “The Sound of Music”, making clothing from curtains feels not only sustainable, but perfectly fitting.

PAIN - DOES THIS MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE? DEGREE COLLECTION, MAY 2025
Being disabled isn’t easy.
Most people know that, but the reality is no one can really understand the pain and discomfort that disabled people go through on a daily basis. With that in mind, this collection aims to help the able-bodied understand what it’s like to face physical limitations, by creating pieces that impede and restrict movement, in order to give an experience of what it’s like to be a disabled person in an ableist world. If able-bodied people understood, maybe they’d think twice before parking in a disabled parking space or moving seats on the bus so we can sit down.
We don’t want pity or sympathy, just some consideration.
Everything in the collection has been made with either reused fabrics - the leather she uses is from a sofa; or is “deadstock” - a term used in the fashion industry for fabric that has been produced but no longer wanted - thus nothing is new, except threads and trimmings.
XII EXHIBIT. POP UP EXHIBITION, CARMARTHEN, MARCH 2023
This “Remake” collection was been made entirely out of one wedding dress. The idea of the collection was to show how many garments could be made from just one item of clothing. According to the UN, “…the fashion industry is widely believed to be the second most polluting industry in the world.” Tammy wanted to show how you can have a unique, couture piece from beautiful fabric that has only been worn once.
